Kristie Werfelman, NCC, LPC Associate, Supervised by Julie Coleman MA LPC-S

Kristie is BasePoint Forney primary therapist with experience supporting adolescents through a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. She earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University–Commerce and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Texas at Dallas.

Kristie’s clinical background includes work in both outpatient and higher levels of care, providing individual and group therapy, family counseling, and treatment planning in PHP/IOP settings. She has additional experience in domestic violence counseling, safety planning, and psychoeducation.

With a foundation in CBT-oriented and trauma-informed practices, Kristie is passionate about helping clients develop self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier relationships.
