We Care. And It Shows.
The Basepoint Difference
A Partner In Healing and Recovery
We believe that providing the highest quality of care possible means utilizing evidence-based clinical and medical models, integrating patient outcomes to make active treatment decisions, and partnering with teens and their families to inform the therapeutic process.
At BPA, we recognize that in our fast-paced and high-pressure world of filtered selfies, constant technology, and social media exposure that it’s difficult for teens to stay focused, fearless, and free.
We understand that navigating the adolescent experience is challenging and, at BPA, we appreciate the teens for who they are and where they find themselves every single day. We utilize the teen’s uniqueness to develop individualized treatment plans to help our patients maneuver through treatment safely and goal oriented.
At BasePoint Academy, The BasePoint Difference means giving every patient a voice by empowering them to establish lasting change, equipping them with resiliency-building tools, and providing them with a safe space to overcome their mental health and/or substance use challenges.
BasePoint’s Promise To Patients and Parents
For teens struggling with behavioral health or a Dual Diagnosis, we’re here to help you heal and recover with dignity and success. Your journey to resiliency and stability starts here. For those crushed under the weight of too many pressures and expectations, it’s okay to ask for help and allow yourself to heal. For those who feel they’re struggling alone, our hope is that you discover you’re not alone and that you find our support network is well-equipped and highly qualified to ensure the highest level of care, safety, and support.
Our environment is safe. Our path is clear. Our treatment is effective. And together, we can help teens find hope, healing, and lasting change.
Recovery Without Academic Sacrifice
At BPA, we don’t want teens to choose between academics or treatment. We value the importance of education and know it’s an essential part of the adolescent experience.
Our education component is designed to seamlessly integrate with our treatment program to embrace the role of academics as part of the healing process.
We offer a dedicated Education Counselor who works alongside our clinical and medical teams. We are also proud to partner with every patient’s school district to develop a successful education plan while they’re in our care and when they return to school full-time.
Supportive Community of Staff and Peers
All students, staff, and peers make up a positive community that sparks meaningful engagement and sharpens practical skills.
Together and in a safe environment, teens will hold each other accountable and provide powerful support to develop and practice resiliency-building skills throughout our Assertive Community group process.
By incorporating family therapy, individual therapy, movement, interaction, and activities, the BasePoint method provides multiple avenues for healing. From purposeful mindfulness activities and role-playing to guided imagery and engaging talk-therapy approaches, we help teens navigate painful emotions in order to identify and overcome internal obstacles.
Our goal is to empower our teens to establish lasting change as comprehensively as possible. To help them become stronger, healthier versions of themselves and jumpstart a brighter future.
BasePoint’s Expertise
