BasePoint Accreditations
Accreditations, Affiliations and Partnerships
The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval represents that an organization aligns with the “highest national standards for safety and quality of care and is equally devoted to constantly improving patient care.” All BasePoint facilities are, at minimum, accredited by the Joint Commission. This accreditation signifies that our facilities have met and maintained rigorous standards in areas such as patient safety, infection control, leadership, and medication management. By continuously meeting these high standards, we are able to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
UT Charter School and BasePoint combines expert education and mental health treatment to support students’ well-being and academic success. This collaboration provides trauma-informed teaching and holistic care, offering flexible enrollment options to meet each family’s unique needs.
The American Association of Behavioral Healthcare (AABH) is a trusted leader in advancing excellence in behavioral health services. Through our partnership, we stay connected to cutting-edge research, best practices, and a network of professionals dedicated to improving mental health care. This affiliation underscores our commitment to delivering the highest quality support and resources to those we serve.
The State of Texas Substance Abuse Treatment Facility License ensures that a facility complies with the strictest state-level standards for safety and quality of care and consistently strives to enhance patient care. Every facility holding this license, including each BasePoint treatment center, adheres to these stringent standards. This license indicates that our facilities have fulfilled and uphold rigorous standards in key areas such as patient safety, infection control, leadership, and medication management. Through the ongoing adherence to these elevated standards, we are able to provide the highest quality care for our patients.
BasePoint Academy College & University Partnerships
BasePoint collaborates with colleges and universities to offer social work students enriching internship opportunities. These internships allow students to enhance their clinical skills while receiving mentorship from our experienced clinicians specializing in mental health and substance use disorders among teens and young adults.
Such partnerships are crucial in addressing the current shortage of mental health providers in Texas by fostering the development of future clinicians. We welcome discussions with other institutions of higher learning to expand clinical training opportunities.
