Cole Calkins

Outreach Liaison

Cole  is a dedicated Outreach Liaison at BasePoint, focused on building strong community partnerships and increasing access to behavioral health resources for adolescents and families. Since joining BasePoint in April 2023, Cole has served in multiple roles, starting as a Patient Access Coordinator, where he provided guidance to families, scheduled assessments, and connected individuals to mental health resources.

In December 2023, he transitioned into his current role as an Outreach Liaison, where he works closely with referral partners, healthcare providers, and community organizations to expand awareness of BasePoint’s services. He is responsible for executing business development events, organizing key meetings, and streamlining communication between providers.

Before BasePoint, Cole worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Rockwall County, supervising youth and advocating for their rehabilitation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from McPherson College and is passionate about helping families navigate mental health care with clarity and support.

“I chose BasePoint because I felt a deep connection to the family story. Often times companies talk the talk but they don’t walk the walk and I recognized that BasePoint’s not walking. They’re on a full sprint to provide the best services and care. I wanted to be a part of that change.

I also had some of my kiddos on probation receive treatment at BP. I saw first had the results of this level of care and how it set them up for better success vs those that never experienced day treatment.”
